Description of the route
Our visit to the city of Girona includes transport from and towards Barcelona, visit guided in the city, includes also the entrance to the Jewish museum, and 1 hour of free time. The visit inside of the cathedral is not included.

La força Vella
In the first century B.C., the Romans raised a powerful fortitude in an almost triangular perimeter; an acropolis, Força Vella was very well protected by walls built of large stone blocks. It was still the first enclosure of the city, unaltered until the year 1000 and still noticeable in some parameters of the walls.

The cathedral
Built between the XI and XVIII centuries, it is set from a set of walls and spaces of different styles, from Romanesque (cloister and tower of Charlemagne) to the Baroque facade and staircase. Its most unique feature is the great ship (s. XV-XVI),which is the widest Gothic vaulted space in the world (23 meters).

The Jewish Quarter
One of the most emblematic areas of the city is the Jewish quarter, formed by a labyrinth of narrow passageways and backyards that maintain the aura of medieval times. This is one of the best preserved in the world and a clear sign of the importance that the Jewish culture had in the Jewish quarters in Girona.
